Polly (Ship) logbook, 1787-1788.

The logbook of the ship Polly details a shipping voyage from Salem, Mass., to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Nov. 1787-April 1788. The ship's owners were John Norris and Joseph Waters; Waters was the master; the logbook keeper was Gamaliel Hodges. The logbook includes mention of at least one death on board.
